19th Annual Chevy/GMC Truck Nationals & All GM Auto Show RECAP
May 1 - 2, 2008

Hello everyone!

Another show has come and gone. Overall, I think we had a good show; of course, Mother Nature stole best of show. Next year we're considering changing the name from "Truck Show" to "Duck Show" - just kidding! Our numbers were slightly down from last year, but I feel the inclement weather was a key factor in that.

I hope everyone liked the Newport area and the fairgrounds. It is a great place, except for the restroom facilities... Being close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was a plus for a lot of you. Most everyone seemed to like slimming the show down to a 2-day event.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you that braved the rain and stuck it out with us. You all are dedicated to the show, and we appreciate it very much! Without you, we couldn't put it on.

Congratulations to the winners – especially the best-of winners! Also, congratulations goes out to the Tennessee Classic Truck Club for winning our inaugural "Club Participation" trophy with 12 registered entrants!

I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize for a what seemed like a disorganized show this year. Things started out band in the early stages and the problems escalated.

Until next time (or when we see you around the show scene), be safe and keep the paint shining!

If you have any questions or need additional information about the event, please call me at (423) 613-5553 or e-mail me at jeff@rockytopgrafix.com.

Thanks!
Jeff & Missy Cody
